SSiC MICROSTRUCTURE - POLISHED & ETCHED

The microscopic analysis of a polished and etched SICANA^@ sample (on the left) shows a material with a regular fine grained microstructure and no open pores.

No uncontrolled grain growth could be observed as happens in the case of SSiC with boron sintering additive (shown on the right).
